Adventurer’s Kit, Dagger (3)

I’m not from around here.
I come from a far off place with different customs and traditions.

  • Invoke to be unaffected by local politics/customs. “Your local crime boss does not intimidate me.”
  • Compel to be oblivious to local politics/customs. “Oh, I never thought your local crime boss would carry through with his threat.”

Ladies man
With women, I have a charming way that puts a different lady in my arms every night.

  • Invoke to persuade a woman to do something that holds the promise of us spending the night together. “If you could give me your husband’s key to the castle gate, we could meet for a midnight tryst.”
  • Compel to have a jilted ex-lover or their mate appear, cajole, stalk, lament, seek vengeance or otherwise interfere. “Of course Melinda, I mean Mary, I mean Mary Ann, our time together was special for me, too.”

Consummate liar
Without batting an eye, I can tell the most preposterous lie.

  • Invoke to convince someone of a falsehood. “Of course the mayor asked us to open his vault. We need to make sure the People’s Treasury is safe.”
  • Compel to catch him in a lie, quite possibly a lie forgot he told or a lie he told while trying to tell the truth. “The head guard sent us. Oh, you’re the head guard. Ummm, what I meant was…”

Arcane elemental conduit
Since my birth, I have been connected to the elements, all of them.

  • Invoke to survive, endure, understand or otherwise master elemental forces.
  • Compel to draw an unwanted connection with those forces. “I wasn’t doing anything! I just walked past the flaming crystal when it exploded.”

Rhogar’s tongue is faster than his brain.

  • Invoke to take the stage and get the crowds attention while a devastatingly cruel & funny wise crack is delivered.
  • Compel – This will be admittedly rare, but compelling this trait pushes Rhogar to say too much at a time when even he knows he should shut his yap. If Colin (as a player) is physically squirming because he has something to say, that would be the perfect time to compel a wisecrack!
